Our Commitment To Privacy
This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how Digital Media Vending International collects and uses personal information in connection with its advertising, content, e-commerce, promotional, service, and other business activities.
The policy is intended to help you make informed decisions when using the site, DMVI products and services, and the sites of advertisers that may be accessed through the broader program.
What Information We Collect
When you visit the site, DMVI may collect two broad categories of information: personal information you actively choose to disclose, and information that is collected automatically by servers or obtained from third parties.
Information you actively choose to provide can include items such as your email address, name, address, phone number, birth date, payment details, billing information, and other details you disclose when registering, responding to offers, completing surveys, or corresponding with DMVI.
Information collected automatically can include IP address, cookie-based activity, visit date and time, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and the sites visited immediately before or after the DMVI site. DMVI may also combine this information with information obtained from marketing partners or other third parties.
For purposes of the policy, the term “Information” also includes information you provide directly by phone, text or SMS message, U.S. mail, or any other written or oral communication with DMVI.
How We Use And Share The Information Collected
DMVI uses Information to administer business activities, provide customer service and technical support, distribute updates about the site, and send or enable others to send information about products and services that may be of interest to you.
Information may be shared with third parties, including advertisers and service providers, for purposes chosen by DMVI, including operation of the program, contact by email, phone, text message, U.S. mail, or other means of communication, and compliance with legal obligations.
If DMVI considers a purchase, sale, merger, or similar transaction involving company assets or stock, Information may be reviewed or transferred as part of that process. Service providers such as payment processors, merchant banks, and internet-service vendors may also have access to Information while performing services for DMVI.
Opt-In Notice
By signing up for the relevant DMVI program, you expressly opt in to receive information about products and services from DMVI and from advertisers or other third parties to whom DMVI may provide your Information.
If Information has already been shared with an advertiser or other third party before an opt-out request is received, DMVI cannot prevent that third party from continuing to contact you, and you may need to contact that third party directly.
Special Note About Information You Provide Directly To Advertisers
Some advertiser sites may be accessible through the DMVI site. If you choose to receive information or sign up for an offer from an advertiser, you may be interacting with a third-party site or company that DMVI does not control.
You should review the privacy policies of those third-party sites before using them. If you want to opt out of an advertiser’s communications, you must do so directly with that advertiser or as otherwise provided on its site.
Security Of Your Information
DMVI uses reasonable technical efforts to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, accidental loss, or destruction of Information.
That said, internet transmissions often pass through servers not controlled by DMVI, so the company cannot guarantee that information provided to or collected by DMVI will never be intercepted or altered in transit. Information may also be shared with third parties whose privacy practices are outside DMVI’s control.
How You Can Choose To Opt Out
If you do not wish to receive further information about products or services from DMVI, and want DMVI to stop providing your Information to third parties, you may opt out through the site’s unsubscribe or opt-out page, by clicking the unsubscribe link in newsletter emails, or by written request sent by U.S. mail.
Written requests should be sent to: Digital Media Vending International LLC, 400 Morris St, STE F, Sebastopol, CA 95472.
DMVI states that opt-out requests are updated promptly, though it may take up to ten business days for a change to become fully effective.
How To Correct, Delete Or Access Your Information
If you want to access, delete, or correct information you have provided through the site, DMVI directs you to contact the company through the Contact Us section of the site or by written request sent by U.S. mail to the Customer Service Manager at the address listed above.
Special Rights For Residents Of Certain States
DMVI notes that residents of California and other states with specific privacy laws may have rights not fully set out in the general policy. The example given is the right to request information about third parties to whom personal information has been disclosed for direct-marketing purposes and a description of the categories of information disclosed.
DMVI states that such requests must be made in writing and must include the registrant’s name, email address, the site name visited, and a return address. The company states that it will not honour such requests more than once per calendar year and that requests made by email will not be accepted.
Please review this Privacy Policy periodically for changes. Revisions take effect when posted, and continued use of DMVI services after a posting constitutes acceptance of those changes.
